2018 Advent and Christmas at Park Road

Theme: singing with mary

There are several well-known songs recorded in our scripture, and we will spend the season leading up to Christmas singing with Mary. These words, often called the Magnificat, which she sang upon her surprise in hearing the angel’s announcement that she was pregnant with Jesus, have served to inspired Christians since they were first uttered. Like all of scripture, when we look at it closely, we will find that Mary’s song is still relevant and offers comfort but also a challenge for the Church. Please join us every Sunday, you are available, to add some sacred to your celebration.
