The Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary Choir serves as the primary choir for Sunday morning worship. Rehearsing on Wednesday nights from 7:30-9:00 p.m., the choir prepares anthems to offer in worship on a weekly basis. We also present two major works with orchestra each year (during Advent and Lent/Eastertide) and welcome those who can only commit to occasional periods of participation to join us when preparing these marvelous works. The Sanctuary Choir is led by Anne Hunter Eidson. All are welcome.

The Youth Choirs
The Middle School Choir rehearses each Sunday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The primary focus will be a handbell choir to perform in worship and other venues. However, we will also include singing and other musical interests (instrumental, drama, etc.). No experience is necessary. Come join us!

The Senior High Choir meets on Sunday from 5:00–6:00 p.m. and have the opportunity to rehearse and present a musical drama, play handbells, sing, and play instruments. No experience is necessary. Join us and we’ll plan according to your interests!

The Children’s Choirs
Music Makers (1st and 2nd graders) and Young Musicians ( 3rd thru 5th graders) practice from 6:45-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The choirs begin and end rehearsal together, but divide for the bulk of the rehearsal for age-appropriate learning. Children sing in worship regularly and perform various musical mission projects throughout the year.

The Cherub Choir (ages 4 to K) also rehearses on Wednesday nights, from 6:00 to 6:40 p.m. This choir allows our youngest children to begin sharing their musical gifts, and to learn some of the basics.

Special Musical Events

The Sanctuary Choir provides the focus in worship for one Sunday of the Christmas season, usually performing an extensive work in combination with members of the local symphony. Easter provides the same opportunity, either on a Sunday morning, or for a special musical presentation during Holy Week.

Concerts on the Lawn — Over the summer, our Music and Worship Support Committee sponsors a series of musical events in the courtyard. Members of the church and community are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy these fun, family events. Please check the Monthly Calendar for upcoming events.
