Caring Church Companions  – Park Road Baptist began its CCC Team ministry in 2002 to assist members in difficult situations. In each instance, a team of church members is organized to help the member-in-need two hours per month. Volunteer duties have ranged from grocery shopping to driving to the doctor to just visiting. The member-in-need and his/her care team determine what can and should be done. Although all situations are kept confidential, this “ministry within the church” has deeply touched the hearts of the givers and the receivers. If you are interested in serving on a care team, please speak to Amy Jacks Dean, pastor, or contact her by e-mail.

Counseling – The church ministerial staff is available for counseling appointments or our professional care referrals are made to the Counseling Center at Charlotte, a Baptist-based center of which we are a supporting congregation, and to individual counselors, as needed.

Friends at Home – The church maintains a “Friends at Home” list of elderly church members, and deacons and staff attempt to give extra attention to these special members of our congregation. If you would like to visit or write some of our “Friends at Home,” please call the church office at 704.523.5717.
